Wow, there were a lot of colours at the Holi festival!

Wow, I felt so exhausted when I completed my Orienteering course!

Today, Room 7 had Orienteering. It was our third lesson and the second to last lesson with coach Leon and Irene. Coach Leon and Irene put the controls around our whole school and it was hard to find the controls because I didn’t feel confident reading the map. Some of my classmates were still looking for the controls when I had completed the courses. It was very hard and long because our school is very big.

Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I record our third Orienteering lesson.

Wow, we saw Katie Glynn!

Today, the whole school went to the hall to see Katie Glynn. Katie Glynn talked to us and she told us that she represented New Zealand in the London 2012 Olympics. We also watched a video of her last game of field hockey. Then Katie told us her injury. It was cool to meet Katie Glynn.

The heat energy from the sun is burning everything!

Learning Intention: We are learning to understand the impact of heat energy in our common home.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I find evidence of heat energy around our school.

Friday 24th of March, Room 7 did orienteering. Our coach is Leon and Irene. They gave us a map of our school and a scoring paper. We needed to find the controls to clip our scoring paper every time we reached a point on the map. It was tiring but we has so much fun.
