Using Morse Code Like In The Olden Days!

Today during our whole class reading we we're assigned to post a message to a friend or classmate in Morse Code! I believe this method in communication was always used in WW2, I sent my message to a friend of mine Simon but he wasn't well informed about it so I taught him by sending him a telegraph which translates dashes and dots to letters. He have already completed solving the message and now he knows how to translate Morse code.
