Trip To Botanical Garden

L.I. W.A.L.T- write a recount using describing words.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I can write a recount about Botanic Garden trip using describing words. 

Yeah!! May 17, 2016 Tuesday the whole school went to Botanic Garden.This is the third time I went there. 

When we arrived we went with our group. First we saw some pretty and sweet smelling flowers. There were  tall flowers, beautiful  roses, daises and all kinds of other flowers. There are  lots of colourful flowers.There are pink, purple, white , yellow and blue flowers.

Next we went to a class and  learnt about worms.  We saw some tiger worms using magnifying glasses. A girl name Sarah gave us some life cycle puzzles to put them in order. After that we went  to a garden and we use the yoghurt cups to a plant a seed.

Later we had lunch and waited for the bus to go back to school. My friend and I were very happy to visit the Botanic garden again.

Hi, I'm in room 5L. I want to say thank you for organising a healthy lunch for us. 
I really like the fruit salad that the chef had made for us.It is sweet and a bit sour because of the different fresh fruit, and it's really good. 

The chocolate cookie was delicious, because of the honey. I don't  like the chicken sandwich because it has mayonnaise and I don't eat mayonnaise. I didn't ate the dumplings so I gave it to my parents and they said it was very tasty.

My Healthy Lunch

L.I- W.A.L.T .... write a recount using descriptive languages.

Sucess Criteria: I know I can this when I can use descriptive words in my story.

Yeah!! free lunch two weeks ago at school. Master chefs , learner chefs and doctors went to our class.

They gave us some healthy lunch. We take a photo and they talked about the food. then it was time to eat. In my lunch I have a sandwich with crunchy celery ,delicious  cucumber, yummy chicken and tasty mayonnaise. Next their were savoury dumplings and inside it their were some carrots, tomatoes and onions. Thirdly I have a chocolate dip cookie. the chocolate was hard so I let the chocolate melt a little. Lastly we said goodbye to are visators and I wish too see them again.

Reyana The Butterfly by Anamaria

L.I.- W.A.L.T -write a narrative story about a tiny creatures .       
  Success Criteria- I know I can do this when I wrote a story about a butterfly. 
           
                       Reyana The Butterfly  

   Reyana the butterfly live at Butterfly world . She had lots of friends but there is one butterfly who is not her friend . 

Her name is Diana . She is evil and do bad things. She always bullied other butterflies even Reyana.  Reyana  played with her friends while Diana make ugly faces. Reyana told her friends to hide away from Diana.Then she went to Diana and said '' I don't like the way you bullied me ''. I want to be your friend.

 So they went to the park to play, sing, and dance. Reyana likes to sing, while Diana likes to dance. They enjoyed and have fun together. Finally they become good friends forever.

During The Holidays

During The Holidays

During the holidays my family and I went to a concert.  My family and I dressed in our best clothes.  We all looked nice.   

At the concert there were a lot of people.  There was nice food and water to drink.  Some people were selling a Filipino TV set.  It had a lot of channels. 

Inside the concert I saw my older friend.  Her name is Madel.  She was with her dad.  Her mum is in the Philippines because her mum is sick. 

The show began.  While we watched, my brother and I ate chocolate, bread and some chips. 

First we watched a video of Mega world. 

I saw a person with a microphone.  He read out the names of people who work at a Filipino TV station. 

Next we saw a kid get up on the stage.  He was 11 years old.  He was going to sing.  After he sang the stage man asked him if he liked playing minecraft.  The kid replied, “Yes!”  After that a man sang the song ‘I believe I can fly’.  He was good at singing and so was the kid.

 We saw the celebrity man.  When he went on stage the audience screamed and cheered.  Later we watched him act like he was in a movie.  He was very clever and he was good at making jokes.  We all laughed at his jokes.

Finally, when the show was over, we went home.  It was a fantastic day.
