The earth reminds me of God who created the earth for us!

Earth- The earth reminds me of Jesus who created the earth for us.
Cross- The cross reminds me of Jesus on the cross.
Apple and snake- the apple and the snake reminds me of Jesus who kicked out Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden.
Crown- The crown reminds me of Jesus that wants David to be the king of Israel.
Fire- the fire reminds me of Jesus send a fire from heaven.
Rainbow- The rainbow reminds me of Jesus that flooded the whole earth to get rid of bad people and after that happened Jesus made a rainbow in the sky.
Rosary- The rosary reminds me of Mary who is the mother of Jesus.
Dove- The dove reminds me of Jesus that got baptised from his cousin John the baptist.
Grapes (symbolising wine)- The grapes reminds me of Jesus who performed his first miracle. He turned water into wine.
Ten commandments- The ten commandments reminds me of Jesus told Moses the ten commandments at Mount Sinai.

Learning Intention: We are learning to recognise that the Jesse tree tells the story of the people who prepared for the coming of the messiah.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I record 10 symbols on the Jesse tree that reminds me of Jesus using screencastify.

Red cross built six homes for Haiti!

  Red Cross built six homes for Haiti with nearly half a billion dollars from donations.
    Red Cross has been collecting money and medical supplies for New Zealand troops overseas.
      Red Cross gave food to the poor families in the United Kingdom.
        The Red Cross society provides free treatment for the poor in India.
          The Red cross provides shelter, food and mental health services to help those in need. 
            The Red cross feeds and gives money to the people in Spain.

            Trees gives us oxygen so that we can breathe!

            I would be very scared if I was strapped to 100 helium balloons!



            What did Tom Morgan do on October 20th 2017?

            He soared over South Africa, seated in a camp chair strapped to 100 helium balloons.
            2. How long was the flight and how high did he go?
            It was a two hour flight and it went up to 8,000 feet.
            Critical thinking Question:
            What would scare or excite you the most about a helium balloon flight?
            I wouldn’t be excited at all because I am scared of heights and I would be afraid of the possibility that the balloons might pop. Also I am scared of being alone.

            99/ 100, 99% and 0.99 are different ways of showing the same value!



            Decimals, fractions and percentages are different ways of showing the same value.

            Example:
            99%- Percentage
            0.99- Decimal
            99/100- fractions

            More examples:
            20%-0.2-⅕
            25%-0.25-¼
            50%-0.5-½
            75%-0.75-¾
